Today we woke up and everyone put on our new Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse shirts that Kara & Kelsey got for us to wear at Disney World.
(Thank you, Kara & Kelsey for the neat shirts.) We walked to a nearby bus stop and got on and rode the bus to another bus stop. We got off there and walked to the boat launch area and boarded a boat transporting guests to Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
When we got off the boat, it already looked like there was a huge crowd at Magic Kingdom.
Luckily, we were able to get in real quick because we had pre-purchased MagicBands. I had to go through a short line that checked bags because I was carrying a purse.
We bought Terryn & Kolton each an autograph book & pen and we waited in line for a few photo ops/autographs with various characters throughout the park. The kids favorite characters was Woody and Jessie. They also got pictures with Pluto.
It was a busy day at Magic Kingdom and we waited in line for as long as 70 minutes.
Terryn's & Pop's favorite thing they did today was Splash Mountain (a thrilling & wet log ride).
Kolton's favorite thing he did today was getting to drive a race car. My favorite was a ride called Under the Sea.
It was hot and humid today but we enjoyed every minute of our day. A shower and clean clothes sure felt good when we got back to our aircondition camper.......... bet we all sleep good tonight!
Myra and I have been following along with you all on your trip. Its looks like a lot of fun! I have to say I'm pretty impressed with those huge trees in Tennessee. We look forward to hearing and seeing more about your trip. Safe travels!

ReplyDeleteWe have reservations to go to Mickey's Backyard BBQ on Tuesday evening. We are having a great time. IF you've been to Disney and are real familiar with the layout, the FastPass+ really cuts down the waiting in line at attractions. Since we were not familiar with it, we haven't used it yet but plan to use it for Tuesday when we go back to Magic Kingdom (for the second time). Kids want to do some of the rides again so think we can plan ahead and use it. Enjoy your Disney World trip!!
