On a hot afternoon, 138 years ago (June 25, 1876), on a hill above the Little Bighorn River, General Custer and five companies of the 7th Calvary were overwhelmed by Sioux & Cheyenne warriors. There were no survivors. The Indians won this battle but did not win the war.
