Day 12 - Back Again to Magic Kingdom (Our Last Day at Disney World)

This is our final day at Disney World so we decided that since there seems to be so much to do at Magic Kingdom and the kids seemed to love it the most, that is where we should go on this final day. We got up earlier today so we could get there earlier.  Pops set up three attractions on FastPass+ so we could get more out of our day.  It really cut down on the waiting times


We rode the bus to the area that you have to get off of in order to catch the boat ride to Magic Kingdom.

We walked quickly to the boat ramp and stood in line

 for a short time before boarding the boat.

There were several characters at Main Street USA area and it looked like the

 lines were short so we stopped and took advantage of getting

 some autographs & photos.

We had a FastPass+ to see Mickey Mouse.

We went to Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid again.

Today was overcast, therefore the sun was not beating down on us...we did a lot

 of walking today but it really didn't bother us.

Kolton & Terryn both wanted to drive the race cars at

 Tomorrowland Speedway so we took off for there.  They

both had a great time driving the race cars!

I was drawn to the beautiful trees, plants and flowers here in Magic Kingdom, as well as the rest of Disney World.

 While walking, we spotted the Pirates of the Caribbean and thought we should go to it, so we did.
 

Kolton was not quite sure he wanted to go in the Haunted Mansion,

 but he was brave and went.

Kolton loves the lizards which are plentiful in Disney World

and this area of Florida.  He was always running, sneaking up on them to try to catch them.

We stopped for awhile to take a break so Kolton & I could get a drink while Pops & Terryn ate ice cream.

Kolton & Terryn both liked the 3-D movie 'Mickey's PhilharMagic' best

 of all that we went to today. They really think 3-D is cool!

We said Good Bye to Disney World.  Here's hoping Pops & I are blessed

with good health the next few years so we can take any 'future' grandchildren

 that we may have to Disney World.  Terryn & Kolton said they would go along

and help us.  It has been a truly magical vacation for Terryn & Kolton

 and MaMa & Pops.

Tonight we have reservations at Mickey's Backyard BBQ so after we got back to the  campground we all showered and took a break until it was time to leave for the BBQ.  It is raining but we went anyway since it is under a huge pavilion.  Before the dinner, we were able to get photos & autographs from Goofy and Chip & Dale.

 

   

The barbecue food was delicious (burgers, pulled pork, ribs, hotdogs & more).  There was a band, singers, a cowboy performing trick roping, characters dancing with the kids, and just a lot of plain, good ole fun.

  We had a great time; what a way to end the day and our visit to Disney World!
