Day 13 - Last Day at Fort Wilderness Campground

When we made reservations for Disney World and Fort Wilderness Campground, we scheduled one day to take a short drive to go to Sea World and a day for Bob & I (aka Pops & MaMa) to rest if we needed to sometime during our 4 days at Disney World.  We didn't take off a day to rest, so we are doing it today.

The campground has a swimming pool which we had not used yet because we figured we can swim in a pool any time.  However, since we have this day with nothing scheduled and since the grandkids have been soooo good, we decided to let them go swimming.  After we were ready for the day, we told the kids to get their swim wear on and grab their beach towels.  We walked to the pool and let them swim a little over an hour. Terryn loved the water slide.  Kolton went down it once but he was so fast we failed to get a picture of him. We think he must of taken in a little bit too much water when he slid into the pool, because he didn't want to do the water slide again.

After the kids finished swimming, we ate a leisurely lunch by the pool.  We walked back to the camper and the kids watched some movies.  Pops took a short nap and I started getting things put up in the camper so we can travel tomorrow.  It's kind of nice to have a day with no particular schedule to follow.

We ate at Trails End tonight. It really looked like rain but it cleared up so we went to the boat dock/beach area of the campground and watched the fireworks.  Prior to the fireworks, several boats paraded out in the water with green lights on, one by one, and when they got positioned they put on a light show with music...quite impressive, to say the least!
