Day 14 - Travel West to Madison FL (Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park)

Today is travel day.  We got up, dressed and got the kids in the truck while I finished preparing and closing up the camper for travel mode.  It's bittersweet leaving this campground & Disney World area as we have made a lot of memories with our grandkids while we have been here.  We feel fortunate that we were able to take this trip, and happy their parents allowed us to take them on vacation so far away.

We are traveling to stay at Yogi Bear's Jellystone RV Park in Madison, FL.  It is approximately a 3 hour drive.  Our plan is to stay here until Monday morning.  We arrived at noon, checked in and after setting up the camper we ate lunch.

Kolton made some friends right off the bat.  They followed him & Pops to the other side of the lake.

There wasn't too many people at the park when we got here, but several campers have rolled in this afternoon and this evening.

We walked with the kids to the swimming area mid-afternoon and they swam and/or went down the water slide for an hour and a half.

The campground is nice but had a lot of pesky, annoying gnats.  Hopefully, that is not a problem all the time we are here, or we might find ourselves inside the camper until Monday.  The kids spotted some kayaks so I have a feeling we will be kayaking tomorrow.

We fixed some dinner and are watching some television tonight since the kids have already had their showers.

Until tomorrow........sweet dreams!

  1. Right here are multiple hints to maintain your trailer secure.
You ought to never park in shady searching places due to the fact it is more likely that thieves will use it as shelter.

in case you need to realize more, you may go to:- retirement trailer park
