Day 14 of Our RV Journey to Canada & Alaska - 5/26/14 (Travel Day from Canmore to Jasper)

This morning, we left this beautiful area in and around Canmore Canada, to travel to Jasper  Canada.
But, we did not leave the beautiful scenery as the entire trip was awesome.

We drove 193 miles today. The peak elevation was 6,820 ft.  The temperature was cool/cold.  We traveled in drizzling rain and even drove in snow flurries.

We stopped at Columbia Iceland and went on the Glacier Skywalk that opened just this month.  It is a glass-floored  observation platform 918 feet over glacier-formed valleys and rushing waterfalls.

Today, we saw two black bears, whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, raven, & ground squirrel.  I was unable to get pics as we were traveling 50 mph.

We do not have WiFi at the campground so we are at Tim Horton's taking advantage of their WiFi.

Some pics I took today; it was almost as beautiful today than yesterday but was hazy, cloudy, & damp.

We are staying overnight at Whistler Park which is located in Jasper National Park.

There are lots of signs of elk.....
