Day 38 of Our RV Journey to Canada & Alaska 6/19/14 - Just Hanging Out at Trappers Creek AK

Today is a free day to take it easy, get some things done, or whatever; nothing really planned for the day.  Bob and I walked to the Post Office and mailed some postcards to family.  The Post Office is just behind a junk store, so we looked around there dropping off the mail.  Jesse was already there looking around when we got there; probably trying to get that 'heck of a deal' before Bob stumbled upon it.

Jesse and Bob just happened on to Sarah Palin at Wal*Mike's and visited with her for quite a long time.

Wal*Mike's even had some flowers growing along their entrance and I just had to go look at this unusual flower growing in Alaska; after going up to it and looking at it closer I found out it was rhubarb with artificial sunflowers stuck in it...had me fooled for a while.

We looked around for quite a while at Wal*Mike's but just couldn't find anything we could live without today, but please note that if you are ever in this area, the inventory changes daily and there's some 'heck of a deals' to be had.  Just remember to tell them "Bob & Jesse sent you" and you just might get a discount.  It is located in Trapper Creek AK on Trailer Trash Turnpike...just follow the signs; you can't miss it.

Ginger was the cook today, and as always, the meal was delicious.  Thanks Ginger.
