After leaving the rodeo, we came back to the campground. It was my night to cook, so I prepared dinner for the four of us and after we ate we sat around and visited for awhile.

Day 54 of Our RV Journey to Canada & Alaska 7/05/14 - Ninilchik Rodeo
We are sticking around Ninilchik to go salmon fishing and plan to go after this holiday weekend is over so there won't be as many fisherman around. Ninilchik is just a very small village and there isn't much else to do but fish. However, this weekend the Ninilchik Rodeo is going on, so we went to the rodeo this afternoon.

It was a "small town rodeo" ... what else can I say?? We're thinking they need some more practice. I'm sure it was a very exciting community event for a lot of the locals.
